Financial Data Analyst- Transportation Sector

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 3 Days Onsite)

Salary: $95,000-$115,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support transportation and economic analysis initiatives. This role involves conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, supporting forecasting and impact studies, and collaborating across teams in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative, statistical, and qualitative analyses within the transportation sector
• Support transportation activity analysis, benefit-cost analysis, and economic impact modeling
• Assist with econometric forecasting and data interpretation
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering accurate and timely insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively
• Adapt to evolving project needs and contribute across a range of analytical tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, economics, transportation, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of statistics/econometrics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• Experience with analytical tools such as Python, R, Stata, or EViews
• Ability to work onsite in Manhattan three days per week
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
