  • About the role
  • Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a major semiconductor client on-site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will focus on delivering high-quality data management, analysis and reporting, transforming complex project data into clear, actionable insights that support informed decision-making for clients and project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python and Power BI, with demonstrated experience managing and analyzing complex datasets, developing automated data processes and creating meaningful visualizations and reporting solutions.

  • Responsibilities will include
  • Utilizing Python and SQL to extract, normalize, analyze and manage large and complex datasets.
  • Developing and maintaining Python scripts for data manipulation, cleansing and normalization.
  • Creating visualizations, reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to communicate meaningful insights to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into valuable data insights and reporting solutions.
  • Ensuring data integrity, quality and security through effective database management practices.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of reliable data models, reporting structures and automated data workflows.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve data processes, reporting efficiency and overall data quality.
  • Collaborating with other data analysts and software professionals while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on SQL, Python and Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, analyze and interpret complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collect, organize and communicate significant amounts of information in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL database maintenance.
  • Knowledge of data lakes, data warehousing and associated best practices.
  • Experience with Azure Functions and cloud-based automation of data flows.
  • Experience with data importing, preprocessing, normalization and cleansing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud-based data environments.
