ABOUT THE ROLE

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Data Analyst. This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational growth.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience, analytical abilities, technical skills, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• - Collect, clean, and analyze business data
• - Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• - Identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• - Maintain accurate databases and reporting systems
• - Support business performance tracking and KPI reporting
• - Validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• - Assist with forecasting and operational reporting
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data initiatives
• - Create recurring and ad hoc reports
• - Document data processes and reporting procedures
• - Support process improvement projects using data insights
• - Perform additional analytical and reporting tasks as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• - High school diploma or equivalent required
• - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• - 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, administration, finance, customer service, or related roles
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• - Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
• - Familiarity with Google Workspace
• - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills

NICE TO HAVE

• - Internship or entry-level analytics experience
• - Experience with data visualization tools
• - Knowledge of SQL or database concepts
• - Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Excel dashboards
• - Interest in business intelligence and data-driven decision-making
