We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data that supports business operations and informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify trends, monitor performance, develop reports, and provide actionable insights that help improve guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, clean, and analyze data from multiple business and operational sources.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for management and internal teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to guest engagement, operations, sales, and business performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
- Collaborate with departments such as Guest Services, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Human Resources to support data-driven initiatives.
- Perform data quality checks and investigate inconsistencies or discrepancies.
- Prepare clear and accurate summaries of analytical findings and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Use tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms to support reporting and analysis.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests and assist with special analytical projects.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
- Handle business data responsibly and follow applicable company policies regarding data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and reporting processes.
- Experience developing dashboards and performance reports.
- Ability to translate business questions into meaningful data analyses.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Interest in the hospitality, tourism, entertainment, or theme park industry is a plus.
