Akkodis is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month contract with a client in Chicago, Illinois (Onsite)

• Duration: 12 months contract
• Pay Rate: $65 - $70/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Summary

A Senior Business Systems Analyst is typically responsible for leading and managing the analysis and design of information systems to meet the needs of an organization.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading the gathering and documentation of business requirements for new systems or system enhancements.
• Analyzing and evaluating existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Leading the design and development of system specifications, prototypes, and data models.
• Leading meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates on project progress, and obtain approvals.
• Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure system quality and functionality.
• Providing expert support and troubleshooting assistance for complex system issues.
• Developing user documentation, training materials, and conducting training sessions.
• Collaborating with developers and other team members to implement solutions.
• Leading and managing large-scale projects or multiple projects concurrently.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level business systems analysts.
• Staying current with industry trends and developments in business systems analysis.
• A Senior Business Systems Analyst should have strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They should have a deep understanding of business processes and systems, as well as extensive experience in business systems analysis.

Position Requirements:

• Comprehensive data analytics skills, including specific proficiency in SQL, PowerBI and Python
• Experience building, maintaining, and deploying data pipelines
• Strong collaborative and consultative skills, with the ability to translate functional and process requirements into technical outputs, and vice-versa
• Strong understanding of statistics and data modelling, with the ability to translate data insights into business outcomes
• Ability to lead multiple projects with varying priorities and timelines
