Role Description This is a part-time, remote Data Analyst role at Star Queen Sisters. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize data from various platforms, training programs, and community initiatives to generate clear, actionable insights. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining dashboards, performing exploratory and statistical analysis, and supporting data-driven decisions related to learner performance, program effectiveness, and business growth. The role will collaborate with training, marketing, and operations teams to define metrics, track key performance indicators, and translate data findings into practical recommendations. The Data Analyst will also document processes, ensure data quality, and contribute to developing scalable reporting systems as the organization grows.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics, including working with structured and unstructured data.
Solid foundation in statistics and data modeling to support forecasting, segmentation, and performance measurement.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear reports, visuals, and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio).
Experience building dashboards and reports that track KPIs and program outcomes in an education, training, or digital services context is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in digital work, online education, or empowering remote workers and creatives is highly beneficial.
