Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Data Analyst at Green Hat Consulting, S.L. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize data related to renewable energy projects and consulting engagements. Day-to-day tasks include performing data analyses, building and maintaining data models, and applying statistical methods to support project evaluation and decision-making. The role also involves preparing clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations, and communicating insights to project managers, consultants, and external partners. The Data Analyst will collaborate with the team to improve data quality, support forecasting, and contribute to the optimization of renewable energy project performance.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets and project information.
Proficiency in data analytics, including experience with tools or languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
Solid understanding of statistics and statistical methods relevant to forecasting, performance analysis, and risk assessment.
Experience with data modeling, including designing, implementing, and maintaining data structures to support reporting and analysis.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear, concise, and accessible manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with renewable energy or engineering projects is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate virtually with a distributed team.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
