Role Description The Data Analyst will support the CII Alternatives Investment Fund Summit 2025 by gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data related to attendees, sessions, sponsors, and market trends. Day-to-day tasks include building dashboards and reports, performing statistical analyses, and developing data models to generate insights that guide program design, marketing activities, and stakeholder engagement. The role involves presenting findings in a clear, visual format, preparing briefings for internal teams, and assisting in post-event impact analysis and performance metrics. This is a part-time remote role, requiring regular virtual collaboration with event organizers, partners, and other team members.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in Data Analytics tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R, BI platforms).
Solid foundation in Statistics, including descriptive and inferential methods relevant to financial and event data.
Experience in Data Modeling for reporting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Effective Communication skills for presenting data findings to non-technical stakeholders, both in writing and in virtual meetings.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Familiarity with financial markets or alternative investment concepts is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
