Cybersecurity Systems Analyst (Senior)

Location: Homestead, FL (SOCSOUTH)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Systems Analyst (Senior) to support SOCSOUTH operations in Homestead, FL. This is a critical role requiring deep expertise in RMF and hands-on experience with eMASS in a DoD environment.

Location Note:

Homestead is approximately one hour south of Miami, with limited local housing options. Commuting from surrounding areas (e.g., Miami or West Palm Beach) may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes for assigned systems
• Manage and maintain system authorization packages within eMASS
• Conduct system security assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring activities
• Develop, review, and validate cybersecurity documentation and ATO packages
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, standards, and directives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cybersecurity personnel
• Coordinate with system owners, ISSOs, and engineers to manage risk and maintain system authorization

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience in a DoD or federal environment
• Strong, hands-on experience with RMF and eMASS (required)
• DoD-approved Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or equivalent)
• Experience managing Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
• Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SOCOM or similar mission environments
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Prior experience in high-tempo or operational environments
