Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Cybersecurity Analyst / Engineer supporting Learn Graphic Tools’ digital platforms and content delivery infrastructure. The role involves monitoring systems for security threats, analyzing logs, and responding to incidents that may impact data integrity, user privacy, or platform availability. The Cybersecurity Analyst / Engineer will assess application and network vulnerabilities, recommend remediation steps, and help implement secure configurations for web applications and cloud services. Day-to-day work includes performing malware analysis when needed, maintaining security tools, documenting findings, and collaborating with content and technical teams to embed best practices into workflows. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by reviewing security posture, updating policies, and staying informed about emerging threats relevant to online learning and creative tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Analytical Skills to identify, assess, and respond to security risks.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills to secure connections, monitor traffic, and protect infrastructure from unauthorized access.
Candidates should possess Application Security skills to evaluate and harden web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services.
Candidates should possess Malware Analysis skills to investigate suspicious files, behaviors, and incidents affecting systems or users.
Relevant skills and qualifications include familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, OWASP), experience with SIEM or EDR tools, and knowledge of cloud security principles.
Beneficial qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, as well as industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP or similar).
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem solving are highly valued.
