- The Technical Support Engineer will analyze and resolve end user (onsite and remote) hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion. The Technical Support Engineer will also analyze and resolve software application issues and work closely with the Support Manager to ensure correct resolution. Candidates must be energetic possess a strong motivation to learn new technologies and provide remarkable customer service. Traveling up to 25% is a requirement for this position.
- Requirements
- Background:
- ● 3 or more years overall in a business IT support role
- ● 1 or more technical certifications (Cybersecurity, MCSE, A+), preferred
- ● Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or technical school
- Technical Experience:
- ● Strong background in Microsoft Intune and Defender
- ● At least 2 years Cybersecurity background
- ● Microsoft Windows Pro OS (10 & 11)
- ● Office 365 Business and Enterprise Editions (Outlook and Teams expertise a must)
- ● Exchange online, M365 and Active Directory administration
- ● Microsoft SharePoint preferred.
- ● Microsoft Dynamics (SL / GP) experience preferred but not required.
- ● Mobile Device Management – Intune MDM preferred
- ● Desktop/Laptop Hardware and software configuration and management
- ● Experience with wireless access points configuration and management
- ● Experience with mobile phone configurations (iOS and Android)
- ● Experience with remote desktop (RDP) environment
- ● Experience with Smart Boards a plus but not required
- ● Experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system (ZenDesk a plus)
- Qualified Candidates Must Be:
- ● Customer service driven
- ● Professional and articulate over the phone and in person
- ● Able to work independently or receive / execute directions from other remote engineers
- ● A team player who works well with coworkers
- ● Willing to work in a fast past environment
- ● Able to work in small offices or large corporate buildings
- ● Have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ● Able to travel up to 25%
- ● Willing to work overtime when required.
- ● Work onsite at the White Plains corporate office at least 4 days per week
