Cyber Security Analytics Specialist

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Cyber Security Analytics Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in St. Paul, MN. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details:

• Pay: $50 - $53/hr to Start!!
• 6-month assignment, possibility of extension based upon performance and budget.
• Monday - Friday, standard hours.
• This role will be focused on enabling to effectively consume, analyze, and operationalize security logs and telemetry for monitoring, detection, investigation, reporting, and assurance use cases.
• Cybersecurity data/analytics specialist who understands SIEM + data lake environments and can act as the internal consultant/enabler helping security, compliance, and engineering teams consume and get value from cyber telemetry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited U.S. university.
• Cybersecurity telemetry / security analytics
• SIEM experience
• Data lake / modern analytics platform - Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data Explorer, Synapse, Lakehouse/data lake environments.
• SQL + analytics/dashboarding
