About The Role

KDS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security (IS) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the security team, ensuring the protection of our organization’s digital assets. You will play a critical role in incident triage, vulnerability management, and the administration of essential security tools, including email and web security. Beyond technical administration, you will be a key driver in fostering a culture of security awareness through continuous training and maintaining strict compliance with our internal IT policy frameworks.

What You'll Do

Incident Response & Operations

• Triage & Escalation: Act as a primary point of contact for security escalations originating from the Security Operations Center (SOC) or within various KDS business units.
• Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability management lifecycle, including regular reporting, identification of risks, and driving the escalation of necessary remediations.
• Security Administration: Manage and maintain core security technologies, specifically:
• Email Security: Administer Mimecast to defend against phishing and other email-based threats.
• Web Security: Manage web content filtering, manage exceptions, and ensure secure browsing environments.
• Endpoint Security: Oversee the administration and health of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Security Awareness & Training

• Program Management: Lead organization-wide security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and phish testing.
• Learning Management: Administer the security learning management system to ensure all employees complete required security modules.
• Education: Provide continuous training and education regarding security best practices and evolving policies across the entire KDS organization.

Compliance & Audit Readiness

• Policy Adherence: Ensure the KDS organization remains compliant with the security standards established in the IT Policy Framework (IT Manual).
• Audit Preparation: Maintain rigorous documentation and system configurations to ensure the KDS organization is perpetually "audit-ready."

What You Need

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience administering Mimecast or similar email security gateways.
• Hands-on experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) platforms.
• Experience managing web content filtering and proxy solutions.
• Understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and reporting workflows.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with maintaining IT policy frameworks and preparing for internal/external security audits.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to triage complex security alerts and identify patterns in potential threats.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical security concepts into understandable training for non-technical staff.
