Role: A Staff Cyber Security Analyst supports critical cybersecurity operations by monitoring and analyzing system activity to identify and respond to threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Detecting and reporting cyber-attacks, intrusions, and anomalous activities
  • Analyzing network traffic and system data for threats
  • Correlating security events and incidents from various sources
  • Performing incident triage, assessing scope, urgency, and impact
  • Tracking and documenting incidents from detection to resolution
  • Assessing damage to data and infrastructure
  • Conducting trend analysis and reporting on cyber incidents
  • Operating in a 24x7 shift environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience
  • 2+ years in cybersecurity operations
  • IAT Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security)
  • Experience with Windows and Linux OS
  • Knowledge of network documentation, security compliance, and patching
  • Familiarity with CSOC environments and COTS cybersecurity tools
  • Understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols

Preferred: CISSP certification

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Physical Requirements: Ability to remain stationary, occasional movement within the office, and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
