Cyber Security Analyst

• Title - Analyst - CyberSecurity, Information Security Protection & Analysis
• Location - Quebec City or Montreal
• Hybrid – 2 days per months onsite
• Duration - Through March 31, 2027 (with strong extension potential)
• Work Hours - 35 ours per week
• Languages: Excellent French and Intermediate English

• Required Qualifications
• College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience or knowledge in cybersecurity, preferably in:

• Security Operations (SOC)
• Incident Management
• Network Security
• Vulnerability Management
• Knowledge of Lean and Agile principles and the ability to apply them in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops to document current processes, identify pain points, and align stakeholders.
• Map and document cross-functional processes, including roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and associated controls.
• Identify gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities through evidence-based analysis.
• Recommend practical solutions aimed at optimizing, simplifying, or standardizing operational processes and practices.

Produce and maintain key deliverables, including:

• Process maps
• Gap analyses
• RACI matrices
• Recommendations
• Action plans
• Act as a facilitator between cybersecurity teams, IT partners, and business stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of challenges and solutions.
