Role Title Customer Insights and Data Analytics Lead
Our client is a prominent international biopharmaceutical firm dedicated to creating transformative treatments for patients facing complex medical conditions. They are currently seeking an experienced professional to join their San Francisco team to help drive data driven decision making across their oncology and neuroscience portfolios.
In this role you will act as a bridge between data and strategy. You will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable business intelligence that improves how the organization engages with healthcare providers and patients. You will work closely with leadership to identify market trends and optimize brand performance through a mix of secondary data analysis and primary market research.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analysis using secondary healthcare data such as patient claims electronic health records pharmacy data and CRM metrics.
Lead the design and execution of primary market research projects including qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys.
Develop and oversee automated dashboards and reporting tools to monitor portfolio health and market share.
Integrate various data streams to create a holistic view of the customer journey and competitive landscape.
Partner with cross functional teams in marketing medical affairs and market access to address critical business questions.
Communicate complex analytical findings to non technical stakeholders to guide long term strategic planning.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of four to six years of experience in business analytics market research or commercial consulting within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Proven ability to work with industry standard datasets such as IQVIA specialty pharmacy or longitudinal patient data.
Technical proficiency in data visualization and querying tools such as Power BI Tableau SQL or Python.
Demonstrated experience in structuring complex problems and providing clear strategic recommendations.
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to navigate a fast paced matrixed corporate environment.
A Bachelor degree in a quantitative scientific or business field is required while an MBA or related Masters degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from 120,000 to 180,000 depending on the candidates specific experience and skill set.
This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance retirement savings plans and performance based incentive programs.
