Critical Facilities Lead - AI Data Center

Facility Operations Lead – Hyperscale AI Data Centers ($120K–$180K + Equity)

Futura Energy Group is partnering with a leading AI infrastructure innovator to hire a Facility Operations Lead supporting next-generation hyperscale AI data centers.

Locations:

• Buffalo, NY or West Texas (multiple campuses)
• Onsite 5 days (relocation assistance provided)

This is a critical infrastructure role with equity participation, focused exclusively on data center infrastructure, power, cooling, resiliency, and operational risk in high-density AI environments.

Why This Role Matters

• AI workloads demand extreme infrastructure reliability.
• You will serve as the onsite owner of infrastructure risk - ensuring power distribution, cooling systems, and redundancy strategies are engineered and executed without failure.
• This is not a broad site management role.
• This is infrastructure authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure risk assessment and mitigation
• Lead power and cooling capacity planning across live GPU environments
• Design and oversee redundancy strategies (2N / N+1 / N+2)
• Execute and control high-risk change management
• Oversee commissioning processes (L1–L5)
• Serve as escalation lead during infrastructure-related incidents

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hyperscale or mission-critical infrastructure environments
• Deep expertise in UPS systems, generators, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, and electrical distribution
• Strong understanding of concurrent maintainability and redundancy modeling
• Proven ability to lead during high-severity infrastructure events

Hyperscale experience is highly valuable but not required. Mission-critical industrial infrastructure backgrounds are also accepted.
