Credit Analyst- Team Lead (Manufacturing)

John Evans Recruiting is representing a global manufacturer based in the Lehigh Valley, PA area in their search for a Lead Credit Analyst. This candidate must come from a manufacturing background and must have a strong understanding of how to read financial statements.

Our client will fully relocate the ideal candidate for this 5 day in office role.

The Lead Credit Analyst is critically needed as a team lead, reporting to a Credit Manager who is working 11 hours a day to support a team of 5 credit analysts + 1 credit coordinator. The Credit Manager needs a right hand to take work off her plate, so she is able to focus on more strategic work for this manufacturer.

The Credit Manager plans to retire in 5 years and would like for this Lead Credit Analyst to be her successor to lead the department. This department hires kind, giving people, and they seek that type of team player in their family-first culture and fast-growing company.

Job duties:

• Financial statement analysis.
• Support for the Credit Manager.
• Staff development, especially focused on teaching manufacturing industry best practices for credit analysis.
• Light B2B collections work.
• System implementation duties for a new ERP system that is 60% implemented.
• Creating efficiencies through automation and innovation of systems and processes.
• Frequent interaction with the sales department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5-7 years of credit analyst experience required.
• Credit analyst experience in a manufacturing company is required.
• Strong understanding of how to read financial statements is required.
• Willingness to do outbound outreach for B2B collections. Collections experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to co-lead a team with strong training and mentorship skills.
• Experience automating processes through technology is ideal.
• Prior experience implementing a new ERP system is a plus.
• Intuitive and investigative skills needed to protect the company.
• Ability to work in office Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
