STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Credit Analyst on behalf of our client in a remote MST/PST location. This role is responsible for evaluating and underwriting new and renewal financing requests through detailed financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit recommendation processes. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing commercial credit, reviewing financial statements and tax returns, and assessing loan structures to support sound lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate new and renewal financing requests to determine creditworthiness and appropriate loan structures.
- Review and spread corporate and individual financial statements, tax returns, and supporting financial documentation.
- Perform detailed cash flow, debt service, profitability, liquidity, and trend analysis.
- Assess credit risk by identifying strengths, weaknesses, collateral considerations, and mitigating factors.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit recommendations and supporting loan approval documentation.
- Review moderate to complex commercial credit requests and provide sound underwriting recommendations.
- Ensure credit decisions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Partner with sales, account management, and operational teams to support customer financing needs while maintaining risk standards.
- Monitor portfolio trends and assist in identifying emerging credit risks.
- Support annual reviews, line renewals, credit administration activities, and special projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure credit structures are properly reflected in loan records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, underwriting, or commercial lending.
- Experience analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and tax returns.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and loan structuring principles.
- Ability to interpret financial data, evaluate repayment capacity, and perform trend and projection analysis.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present credit recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Premium Finance, Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, Commercial Lending, or Financial Services.
- Experience preparing credit memorandums, loan committee presentations, or formal underwriting recommendations.
- Familiarity with insurance-related financing products and collateral structures.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing both commercial and individual borrower financial information.
