Cost Analyst - Engineering

SOFT's client located in South Plainfield, NJ is looking for a Cost Analyst - Engineering for a long term contract assignment.

The Cost Engineer should posses skills and expertise in the following areas:

Job Description:

• • Cash flow management and project forecasting
• • Cost per unit (CPU) analysis and quantity tracking and forecasting
• • Variance reporting
• • Ability to review estimate detail so variances can be explained at a detailed level
• • Identification of risks to forecast and cash flow
• • Stakeholder management within the Divisions

• Cost Engineer
• Senior level
• Construction experience
• Town and Municipalities – Permitting
• Strong – SAP, and other project software
• Required Experience:
• • 7+ years of Project control experience
• • Both field and home office experience is preferred
• • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
• Preferred Skills and Abilities:
• • Ability to work cross functionally and independently while being remote
• • Knowledge of SAP and Excel
• • Detail oriented
