Control Analyst, Cash Posting, Days, Fully Remote

Responsibilities

Assures all monies received are balanced to receipts from the bank reconciling to the General Ledger. Prepares checks, receipts and remittance advice, both manual and electronic, batching for the automated posting system, starting the process of posting to the Patient Account systems. Works with Sr. Control Analyst for multitude of cash receipts processed through Patient Financial Services. Assists in providing direction to ensure all payments on patient accounts flow accurately and timely between all Norton facilities as well as other entities: i.e., MD Financial, Facilities Point of Service, Denial Management, and ensuring reconciliation to A/R posting in cash general ledger. Assists in preparation of financial reports to Norton Healthcare and Patient Financial Services leadership, under the direction of Sr. Control Analyst. Performs duties as may be requested by management. By performing these functions, ensures established goals and other metrics assigned by Senior Leadership are met or exceeded with integrity in a positive manner.

This role offers a work from home option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.**

Qualifications

Required:

One year in a healthcare facility based central business office (CBO).

Desired

• Three years in a central business office environment, with bookkeeping and accounting
• Associate Degree
