- Contract Analyst

- Position Summary
- We are seeking a Contract Analyst to provide onsite Federal acquisition and procurement support. The position will support acquisition lifecycle activities, including requirements development, acquisition planning, procurement documentation, contract administration, price/cost analysis, and acquisition issue resolution.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support all phases of Federal acquisition management.
- Prepare and review pre-award and post-award acquisition documentation.
- Apply FAR, DFARS, DoD directives, policies, laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Assist with Market Research, IGCEs, PWS/SOW development, Acquisition Strategies, J&As, and related acquisition documentation.
- Conduct price and cost analysis to support determinations of price reasonableness.
- Review RFIs and historical/estimated expenditure information.
- Conduct research, fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of acquisition issues.
- Support routine through moderately complex acquisition matters.
- Coordinate with contracting, program, COR, and other Government stakeholders.
- Work independently and as part of an acquisition support team.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and acquisition-related documentation.
- Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate degree.
- Applicable coursework must include or be supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, organization, or a combination of these disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of direct Federal procurement experience as a Federal Government and/or contractor employee in the GS-1102 series or equivalent capacity, such as Contract Specialist, Contract Administrator, or Procurement Analyst.
- DoD experience is preferred but not required.
- DAWIA Contracting Level II certification, subject to the stated graduate-level education substitution.
- Extensive knowledge of Federal acquisition and contracting.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Experience or knowledge of price and cost analysis.
- Ability to independently resolve acquisition and contracting issues.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
