Compensation Analyst

I’m working on a highly analytical compensation-focused opportunity with a leading investment management firm in New York.

This is a strong fit for someone with 2+ years of experience in financial services who enjoys working with sensitive data, compensation reporting, recurring processes, and detailed analysis for senior stakeholders.

The role sits within a Management Reporting team and will support compensation-related reporting, modeling, analysis, and broader management company reporting.

Responsibilities will include:

• • Supporting recurring compensation reporting, reconciliations, and data preparation
• • Assisting with compensation modeling, variance analysis, and trend reporting
• • Preparing accurate reporting packages and analysis for internal stakeholders
• • Working with accounting, finance, operations, and compensation-related data
• • Helping improve existing reporting processes, workflows, and analytical tools
• • Supporting ad hoc analysis tied to compensation planning and management company economics
• • Handling confidential information with discretion and strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

• • 2+ years of experience in financial services, investment management, asset management, banking, private equity, hedge funds, or a related environment
• • Exposure to compensation, total rewards, incentive compensation, bonus planning, accounting, finance operations, or management reporting
• • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• • High attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines
• • Strong academic and professional track record
• • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
• • Interest in compensation, financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement
