  • We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Credit Analyst looking to grow their career with an established community bank in Northeast Pennsylvania.
  • Our client is a financially strong, independent community bank seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to join its growing lending team. This role is ideal for someone with commercial credit experience who enjoys analyzing financial information, supporting commercial lending decisions, and wants the opportunity to continue developing their skills in a collaborative environment.
  • If you have experience reviewing financial statements, analyzing cash flow, and supporting commercial loan underwriting, our client would be interested in talking with you.
  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Analyze commercial loan requests by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, collateral information, and other supporting documentation.
  • Prepare cash flow analyses and evaluate borrower financial performance to support commercial lending decisions.
  • Underwrite primarily commercial real estate loans, along with additional exposure to C&I and investment real estate lending.
  • Complete annual loan reviews, renewals, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
  • Prepare credit approval memorandums that identify key strengths, risks, and mitigating factors within borrower relationships.
  • Assist with credit administration responsibilities, including tracking financial information, maintaining loan files, and monitoring portfolio activity.
  • Support the commercial lending team by helping ensure accurate and efficient credit decisions.
  • What They're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of commercial credit analysis experience within a financial institution.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and borrower cash flows.
  • Understanding of commercial lending principles and credit underwriting.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities over time.

  • Compensation & Benefits
  • A competitive compensation package will be offered based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. With that said, as required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes a reasonable estimate of the salary range to be $55,000-$75,000 annually.

In addition to base salary, the bank offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions, ESOP, paid time off, and bonus opportunity,
