• Role Description
• This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Credit Analyst at Frontier State Bank in Oklahoma City, OK. The Commercial Credit Analyst will be responsible for performing financial statement analysis, underwriting commercial loans, and evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers on a day-to-day basis up to and including writing Credit Memos and memo narratives as well as other portfolio management duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related fields.
• 3-5 years recent previous experience as a credit analyst in a financial institution.
• Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Statements skills
• Strong Analytical Skills and Critical Thinking.
• Strong Underwriting skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in commercial credit analysis required.
• Experience with Jack Henry suite of products is beneficial.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite of products.
• At least 3 years previous and current experience as a Credit Analyst in a commercial lending environment.

Principal Duties:

• Analyze the financial condition of businesses and individuals, and evaluate the quality and sufficiency of various sources of repayment, collateral, and the appropriateness of credit structures for new loan and renewal requests.
• Act as a control point in the loan approval process to ensure adherence to credit policies and loan covenants.
• Interpret and analyze the applicant's business plan, financial statements, and related materials in conformity with GAAP financial statement reporting, bank procedures, and credit policy.
• Prepare loan presentations providing adequate details of the credit structure, management evaluation, and the background of the business and industry, provide assessment and adequacy of deal structure, risk ratings, and creditworthiness, and participate in presentation and/or present loans to the approving authority.
• Provide recommendations, noting any deviations for existing commercial loan relationships.
• Conduct collateral analysis for existing loans on an ongoing basis.
• Jack Henry and LoanVantage Software experience a plus.
