Collateral Analyst

• Title: Collateral Operations Analyst - Financial Services
• Location: Charlotte, NC
• Duration: 12 months + Contract

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support control and oversight activities within the Collateral Management space.
• The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and capable of tracking and managing control-related activities and exceptions.

• Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and support collateral control activities by organizing, monitoring, and tracking control execution.
• Confirm completion of required controls and proactively identify missed, overdue, or incomplete controls.
• Perform light SQL analysis and review result sets to detect, investigate, and escalate control breaches, failures, and anomalies.
• Log, categorize, and maintain records of control exceptions and issues.
• Assign remediation actions to appropriate owners and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and report on exception aging, closure status, and overall remediation progress.
• Partner with operations, risk, and control teams to ensure adherence to established control procedures and governance standards.

• Desired Skills
• Strong organizational and tracking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and identify inconsistencies or control gaps.
• Working knowledge of SQL for basic querying and result-set review.
• Experience with issue management, exception tracking, or operational controls is preferred.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
