  • Pay Rate: $30/hr – $35/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Cardiovascular Data Abstractor to support a Healthcare AI client. This is a part-time opportunity working approximately 20 hours/week (working 4 hour blocks Mon-Fri) where candidates will apply their NCDR knowledge to review, abstract, and validate patient data while partnering closely with AI product teams. This role is highly detail-oriented and analytical, requiring a strong understanding of registry guidelines, clinical documentation, and abstraction workflows. Laptop and equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • • Abstract clinical cases for one or more NCDR (National Cardiovascular Data Registry) registries such as TVT, LAAO, Stroke, Chest Pain-MI, CathPCI, and others
  • • Review patient charts within the EHR to identify required data elements based on current registry specifications
  • • Evaluate and validate AI-generated abstraction recommendations and input finalized data into the abstraction workflow
  • • Accurately document data sources and ensure compliance with registry standards and guidelines
  • • Provide clear explanations of abstraction decisions and clinical reasoning to internal product teams to enhance AI performance
  • • Identify inconsistencies or gaps between AI recommendations and registry best practices
  • • Partner with GTM and product teams to provide subject matter expertise and critique clinical presentations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • • 3+ years of hands-on clinical data abstraction experience
  • • Registry-specific training/knowledge in TVT and LAAO
  • • Experience working with clinical registries and interpreting registry data definitions/specifications
  • • Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation workflows
  • • Strong attention to detail and ability to explain abstraction logic and decision-making

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • • Experience working across multiple NCDR registries such as CathPCI, CPMI, etc.
  • • Previous exposure to AI-assisted workflows or healthcare technology products
  • • Background in quality improvement, data analysis, or clinical informatics
  • • Comfort working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled healthcare environment
