Client Guideline Reporting Analyst We are seeking candidates for a Client Guideline Reporting Analyst opportunity with a premier investment management firm in Boston, MA. This role partners closely with investment teams to monitor and ensure portfolio transactions and holdings adhere to client investment guidelines and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build expertise in investment operations and compliance while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • This is a 6-12+ month contract position that will pay $30-40/hour (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model in Boston.Responsibilities:
  • Review Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) to interpret, document, and implement client investment guidelines.
  • Maintain and update investment restrictions within the firm's guideline monitoring platform, Sentinel.
  • Provide real-time pre-trade support to investment professionals, ensuring proposed transactions align with client mandates and investment restrictions.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve post-trade compliance exceptions generated by the guideline monitoring system.
  • Collaborate closely with Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Product Management, and Global Relationship teams to address guideline-related inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of investment strategies, client mandates, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of guideline data while identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in investment operations, compliance, financial services, or a related field; relevant internship experience will also be considered.
  • Foundational knowledge of investment products, including equities, fixed income securities, and derivatives.
  • Prior experience with investment guideline monitoring, portfolio compliance, or regulatory requirements is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, AI tools, or other data analysis technologies is a plus, but not required
