Role Description The C&I Solar Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area. This role focuses on evaluating commercial and industrial solar projects by reviewing technical, financial, and contractual information to determine project bankability. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed data analysis, modeling project economics, assessing energy market conditions, and preparing clear summaries and recommendations for internal teams and capital providers. The analyst will assist in structuring financing solutions, supporting due diligence processes, and maintaining organized records and dashboards for active and prospective projects. Collaboration with project sponsors, underwriting staff, and external partners is expected to ensure accurate information flow and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and data analysis capabilities to interpret project, financial, and operational datasets.
  • Knowledge of energy markets and energy management practices relevant to commercial and industrial solar projects.
  • Understanding of the broader energy industry, including renewable energy trends, policy impacts, and risk factors.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, energy management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience in solar or other renewable energy project analysis, development, or financing is preferred.
