About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with extensive expertise in Airtable to join our Category Management and Marketing Operations team. The primary focus of this role is to serve as a functional expert and administrator for vendor-funded marketing processes built within Airtable. The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance operational efficiency, increase data visibility, and automate processes. This role involves translating complex business requirements into scalable applications, workflows, integrations, and reporting solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, and user adoption. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Airtable’s capabilities, including automations, interfaces, and API integrations, and will be instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives within the organization. The role offers flexibility with the option to work remotely within the United States or in a hybrid setting for associates in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in business analysis, process optimization, and advanced Airtable expertise.
Proficiency in designing and managing Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, and dashboards.
Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and creating workflows, automations, and reporting solutions.
Strong scripting skills and experience implementing API integrations within Airtable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of project management protocols, including risk management and dependency tracking.
Experience with change management, user training, and adoption initiatives.
Ability to gather and document detailed business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Partner with business teams to understand operational challenges and gather detailed requirements.
Facilitate discovery sessions, process mapping workshops, and stakeholder interviews to analyze current workflows.
Create comprehensive business requirements documents, workflow diagrams, and solution designs.
Design, build, and maintain Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, and dashboards to support business needs.
Develop scalable data models using linked records, lookups, rollups, formulas, and custom views to ensure data integrity and usability.
Configure Airtable interfaces to facilitate user interactions and manage permissions, access controls, and governance standards.
Create and maintain automations within Airtable to streamline manual processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Airtable with other systems using APIs, middleware, or platform tools.
Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot workflow issues, and optimize processes for maximum efficiency.
Establish data standards, ensure data quality, and develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to generate actionable insights.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Airtable-related questions, providing user support and resolving issues promptly.
Create user documentation, training materials, and operating procedures to facilitate user adoption and governance compliance.
Participate in system enhancement projects, platform implementations, and testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
Track project progress, manage risks, and coordinate dependencies to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
