Business Systems Analyst

• OtterBase has partnered with a leading automotive marketing client to identify an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise software initiatives across cloud, web, and SaaS platforms. This individual will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, leading requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and Agile project delivery. The ideal candidate has experience translating business needs into technical solutions while supporting software development, system integrations, and enterprise application initiatives.
• Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, process maps, and technical specifications to support software development.
• Facilitate requirements sessions, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting Agile delivery and maintaining JIRA work items.
• Identify project risks, remove roadblocks, and communicate project status throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive process improvements by establishing documentation standards and leveraging automation and AI-enabled tools to improve project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience supporting enterprise software projects.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical documentation.
• Experience working within Agile development environments using JIRA.
• Experience supporting cloud, web, or SaaS application development projects.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Scrum Master certification or formal Agile training.*

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API integrations, enterprise system interfaces, or Big Data initiatives.
• Automotive or OEM industry experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and AI productivity tools such as Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
