Position Group
  • Position Overview
  • We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive Business Systems Analyst / NetSuite Administrator to manage and optimize the ERP ecosystem that connects our sales, project management, project engineering, and finance teams. This role owns the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of NetSuite ERP. It also runs the sales operations that keep commissions and reporting moving and builds the dashboards and insights we use to manage and improve the business, by vertical, by manufacturer, and by revenue type.
  • This is a hands-on role that bridges technology and business operations. The person in this seat redesigns NetSuite forms, reconciles manufacturer commission statements, and builds reporting dashboards, sometimes all in the same week. They will inherit established processes, document and improve them, and then build the reporting layer on top.
  • The role carries a dotted line to the CFO for financial reporting standards and data governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Systems Analysis
  • Partner with stakeholders across the quotations team, project management, project engineering, and finance to gather and document business requirements throughout the project lifecycle: opportunities, quotes, sales orders, projects, progress payments, and change orders
  • Translate those requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions: enhancements, automation, and workflow improvements across each lifecycle stage
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison to our NetSuite development partner, managing the request queue and testing changes in sandbox before release
  • Sales Operations
  • Own the commission audit and validation cycle: process manufacturer statements into NetSuite on monthly and quarterly cadences and reconcile them against our records
  • Maintain the customer master file in partnership with sales directors and account managers
  • Provide commission data and documentation to support internal and external audits
  • Reporting and Data Insights
  • Build and maintain saved searches, dashboards, and custom reports for finance, operations, and leadership, including sales operations dashboards by vertical, by manufacturer, and by revenue type (commission income versus project margin)
  • Develop reconciliation and analysis tools to compare manufacturer statements against our records
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems, including the clean, current data behind monthly forecasting of commissions and project margin
  • Expand monthly reporting to include win/loss analysis, distributor scorecards and detailed margin analysis
  • Build a monthly tracker that flags projects completed but not yet closed, with invoices or bills still pending
  • Deliver the monthly reporting pack on a reliable operating rhythm
  • NetSuite Administration and Governance
  • Administer, configure, and maintain the NetSuite platform, including roles, permissions, workflows, forms, and custom fields
  • Ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity across all NetSuite modules
  • Drive ongoing improvement of system efficiency and automation, surfacing manual processes and workflow gaps as they emerge across the business
  • Maintain system documentation, training materials, and best practices, and support internal teams with training, troubleshooting, and system adoption
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new tools across the company, including AI applications
  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator, ERP Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst
  • Hands-on NetSuite administration experience, including saved searches, workflows, form customization, and NetSuite Analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Compensation

  • Base Salary: [range to be confirmed with Alison]
  • Annual Performance Bonus: [target to be confirmed]
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.
