  • Position Summary
  • We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with experience in mortgage lending, banking, or auto finance to join our nationwide Financial Services customer - REMOTE. This individual will partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and drive the development of customer-facing digital solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting the design and implementation of external customer portals or lending websites, including helping build online lending platforms from the ground up. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands both the business and technical aspects of digital lending solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Analyze existing lending workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Lead requirements sessions for the development of external customer-facing websites and self-service portals.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, UX/UI, and product teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Support the design and implementation of online lending portals from concept through production.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployments.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.
  • Create process flows, documentation, and training materials as needed.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience.
  • Industry experience in Mortgage Lending, Banking, or Auto Finance.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Proven experience working on the development of an external customer website, customer portal, or online lending platform.
  • Experience participating in or leading projects that built a lending portal from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience creating process maps, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
