Business System Analyst (SAP)

Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst (SAP) to support an enterprise-wide SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA transformation within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will partner with Operations and IT teams to optimize manufacturing processes, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and support implementation, testing, training, and user adoption.
• This position focuses on Production Planning, Production Execution, Internal Logistics, and Quality processes and is ideal for someone with strong SAP PP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Location: Remote (U.S.) with occasional travel. Candidates must reside in the Eastern Time Zone (ET).

• Key Responsibilities
• Support SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA implementation activities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT teams.
• Translate business needs into functional SAP specifications.
• Support Production Planning, Production Execution, Internal Logistics, and Quality processes.
• Coordinate testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate system functionality.
• Develop process documentation, training materials, and functional specifications.
• Train end users and support change management efforts.
• Track project activities, risks, and deliverables using Jira.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful SAP deployment.
• Support integrations with MES, LIS, and other manufacturing systems as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on Production Planning (PP).
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and SAP implementations or S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP-driven manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Batch Management is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP PP, PPDS, EWM, QM, or PP-PI.
• Experience gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, and supporting testing.
• Familiarity with MES, LIS, and Jira is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, food & beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with change management, end-user training, and enterprise ERP transformation projects.
