Must-Have Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant Business Systems Analyst experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Financials modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Invoicing, and financial postings and ledger entries
• Well-versed in enterprise accounting and finance domains with the ability to understand end-to-end financial processes and money movement
• Experience with Oracle ERP implementation, migration, or integration projects
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries and understand SQL/PLSQL code
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Plusses:

• Insurance industry experience
• AI tool experience, ideally Claude

Day to day:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a top insurance and financial services client undergoing a large-scale Oracle ERP transformation initiative. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between enterprise accounting stakeholders and technical delivery teams, supporting the migration and integration of financial management systems into Oracle ERP. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle Financials and enterprise accounting processes, with hands-on experience supporting General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, invoicing, financial postings, and ledger entries. Day-to-day, this individual will participate in stakeholder meetings with finance and accounting teams, gather and document business requirements, create process flows, capture meeting outcomes, and translate accounting and finance concepts into detailed requirements for engineers and QA resources. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the flow of money through an organization, can effectively bridge the gap between accounting and technology teams, is comfortable using SQL to analyze and validate data, and thrives in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment where communication, accountability, and ownership are critical to project success.

Compensation:

$58/hr to $60/hr.
