- Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Business System Analyst at EMOC-TP. The Business System Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications. Daily activities include analyzing existing systems and workflows, identifying process improvements, and documenting business requirements, use cases, and user stories. The role involves partnering with IT and product teams to support solution design, validate system changes, and assist with testing and user acceptance. The analyst will also maintain documentation, prepare reports and dashboards, and provide ongoing support to ensure solutions meet evolving business needs.
- Qualifications
- Strong Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills, with experience evaluating system capabilities and proposing improvements.
- Demonstrated Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and traceability.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment, with clear and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as requirements management software, diagramming tools (e.g., flowcharts, process maps), and office productivity suites.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a part-time schedule, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with project management or agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
