Business System Analyst

Role Description The Business System Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes and systems supporting cold-chain and FTZ logistics operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating business needs into clear, actionable system requirements. Day-to-day activities include gathering and documenting business requirements, performing systems analysis, collaborating with operations, finance, and IT stakeholders, and supporting the implementation and testing of new solutions or enhancements. The Business System Analyst will prepare functional specifications, develop reports and dashboards, troubleshoot system issues, and help ensure that technology solutions align with regulatory requirements and operational goals. The role also involves ongoing monitoring of system performance, training end users, and contributing to continuous process optimization in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis, with the ability to map current and future-state processes.
• Strong Analytical Skills and Business Analysis capabilities, including data interpretation and problem-solving in complex operational settings.
• Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and validating Business Requirements, and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience working with logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management systems; familiarity with FTZ or customs/trade compliance is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and leadership stakeholders.
• Solid skills in SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization platforms to support analysis and decision-making are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and process standards.
