  • About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst to support a large-scale Human Resources and Payroll environment. This role is ideal for a PeopleSoft expert who understands HR business processes, system configuration, reporting, integrations, and enterprise application support.

The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between HR teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams by translating business needs into effective PeopleSoft solutions. You will help enhance system functionality, resolve complex issues, support upgrades, and improve HR technology processes.

  • What You'll Do
  • PeopleSoft HCM Functional Support
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules, including:
  • Workforce Administration
  • Payroll
  • Position Management
  • Recruiting
  • Time & Labor
  • Performance Management
  • Configure and support PeopleSoft HR processes, including job data, positions, departments, compensation, security, approvals, and workflow.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend PeopleSoft solutions that align with HR goals and compliance needs.
  • Application Support & Enhancements
  • Provide advanced functional support for a large enterprise PeopleSoft environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide solutions.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and change management activities.
  • Functional Design & Configuration
  • Create functional documentation and translate business requirements into system designs.
  • Support PeopleSoft configuration activities, including:
  • Page and Field Configurator
  • Event Mapping
  • Drop Zones
  • Page Composer
  • Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
  • Assist with system modernization and platform improvement efforts.
  • Reporting, Integrations & Data Analysis
  • Develop and maintain reports using:
  • PeopleSoft Query (PS Query)
  • BI Publisher
  • SAP BusinessObjects
  • Collaborate with technical teams supporting:
  • Integration Broker
  • REST/SOAP Web Services
  • Data migrations
  • System interfaces
  • Perform data validation and analysis using SQL.
  • Testing & Collaboration
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead and support:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Functional testing
  • System testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Regression testing
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to junior analysts.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst experience.
  • Strong experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 environments.
  • Deep understanding of HR business processes, payroll operations, workforce administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft configuration, security, workflows, and business rules.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements and creating functional documentation.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level production environments.
  • Strong SQL skills and reporting experience.
  • Experience working with integrations, data validation, and system enhancements.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or highly regulated HR environments.
  • Experience with payroll processing, compliance initiatives, and HR regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with leave management and employee benefits processes.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft security models.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Agile, SDLC, ITIL, or change management processes.
