URM Stores, Inc. is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to lead URM’s enterprise reporting, analytics, semantic modeling, and business data delivery capabilities. This role supports SAP BusinessObjects and DB2-based reporting while advancing modern analytics capabilities using Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Prefect, governed data products, and self-service analytics. The role combines people leadership, technical judgment, stakeholder partnership, and delivery discipline to ensure BI solutions are accurate, scalable, secure, and aligned to URM’s business priorities.

  • BI Strategy and Governance
  • Define and execute the enterprise BI roadmap in partnership with technology and business leadership.
  • Establish standards for dashboards, reports, datasets, semantic models, KPIs, naming conventions, documentation, testing, and change control.
  • Promote use of governed, certified data sources and reduce duplicate or conflicting reporting logic.
  • Partner with data governance stakeholders to improve data definitions, ownership, quality, stewardship, and metric accountability.
  • Analytics Delivery
  • Own intake, prioritization, planning, and delivery of BI requests, reporting enhancements, operational dashboards, and executive analytics.
  • Translate business needs into clear analytics requirements, solution designs, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure delivered reporting solutions are usable, performant, accurate, supportable, and aligned with enterprise BI standards.
  • Modernize SAP BusinessObjects and DB2 reporting assets into scalable, governed analytics products.
  • Leadership and Enablement
  • Lead, coach, and develop BI developers, analysts, contractors, and offshore resources.
  • Guide adoption of Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Prefect, and modern analytics delivery practices.
  • Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve BI development, documentation, validation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Eight or more years of experience in BI, analytics, reporting, data warehousing, or related data delivery roles.
  • Three or more years leading technical teams, analytics portfolios, or BI delivery functions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting environments built on SAP BusinessObjects, Universes, Web Intelligence, DB2, SQL, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of BI governance, KPI standardization, semantic modeling, data quality, and stakeholder delivery.
  • Experience with SQL, dimensional concepts, reporting performance, and production support for business-critical reporting.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and executive-facing presentation skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Prefect, or comparable cloud analytics tools.
  • Retail, grocery, wholesale distribution, supply chain, finance, merchandising, or operations analytics experience.
  • Experience with Power BI, data cataloging, data quality monitoring, and enterprise metric governance.
  • Experience leading distributed, offshore, or vendor-supported teams.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted tools to improve BI productivity and solution quality.

  • An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. Salary range $125,000 - $130,000 annually DOE, plus so much more!
