Business Intelligence Engineer

About The Role

CodeVertex Talent is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to support data pipelines, integrations, reporting infrastructure, and reliable data delivery. This role helps strengthen the foundation for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and document data pipelines, datasets, integrations, and reporting assets.
• Support ETL workflows, data validation, transformations, and data quality checks.
• Work with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Improve reliability, structure, and accessibility of internal data assets.
• Document technical decisions, recurring workflows, dependencies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Experience or training with SQL, Python, ETL, APIs, or data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to document technical workflows, assumptions, and dependencies clearly.
• Comfortable working with structured data, data quality checks, and reporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and remote communication habits.
• Ability to manage assigned work independently and follow through on deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting remote teams or documentation-heavy workflows.
• Comfort using common workplace tools such as spreadsheets, email, calendars, CRM, ATS, ticketing, or reporting systems depending on role.
• Ability to maintain accuracy across recurring tasks and internal systems.
