Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Develop and maintain interactive Power BI/Tableau dashboards and reports.
Write optimized SQL queries to extract and transform data.
Perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Create data models and define business metrics/KPIs.
Develop calculated measures using DAX and perform advanced Power BI analysis.
Build and maintain data visualizations that clearly communicate business trends.
Work with data engineers and technical teams on data pipelines and reporting requirements.
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis.
Automate recurring reports and manual reporting processes.
Present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, metrics, and reporting processes.
Required Skills
Strong SQL skills.
Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design.
Experience with data modeling, including fact and dimension tables.
Good understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and analytical concepts.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
Power BI: DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, data modeling, row-level security (RLS).
SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar databases.
ETL/ELT concepts.
Python for data analysis and automation.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Familiarity with Git/version control.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
