- Role Description In this full-time, on-site Owner role based in the Greater Sydney Area, the individual will be accountable for overseeing project or asset performance, ensuring alignment with ACCIONA’s sustainability and business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting strategic priorities, overseeing budgets and resource allocation, reviewing project plans, and monitoring timelines, quality, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing guidance on risk management and decision-making for key investments and initiatives. The Owner will also be responsible for tracking results, optimizing operational efficiency, and reporting on outcomes to support continuous improvement across projects and assets.
- Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in project or asset ownership, including oversight of planning, execution, and performance management in infrastructure, energy, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis to guide investment decisions and ensure long-term value creation.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, partners, and community representatives.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental standards, and regulatory frameworks relevant to infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical decision-making and risk management.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Sydney Area and engage directly with operational teams and project sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in project or asset management are an advantage.
- Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally within an international or multi-site organization, is highly beneficial.
