Description
Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) and PracticeCore are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex healthcare data into actionable business insights. This role supports strategic decision-making across both organizations by developing dashboards, analyzing operational and financial performance, and identifying opportunities to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and revenue cycle performance.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Epic EMR, practice management, and financial data.
- Analyze provider productivity, patient access, scheduling, surgical volumes, and other key operational metrics.
- Support executive leadership with data analysis for board meetings, strategic initiatives, and organizational performance reporting.
- Conduct capacity planning and utilization analyses to support provider recruitment and practice expansion.
- Perform revenue cycle analytics, including denial trends, accounts receivable, collections, and client performance reporting for PracticeCore.
- Evaluate market trends, referral patterns, and competitive intelligence to support growth strategies.
- Build financial models, ROI analyses, and business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational data governance standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and IT teams to deliver meaningful business insights.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Health Informatics, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 2–5+ years of analytics experience, preferably in healthcare or a physician practice environment.
- Experience with Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Clarity, SlicerDicer) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SQL experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, provider productivity, and revenue cycle management is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
