  • Job Overview
  • We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within a manufacturing plant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving business intelligence solutions, including Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and automated reporting tools.
  • This role will work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, analyze operational data, improve reporting processes, and deliver accurate and actionable insights.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for plant leadership and operational teams.
  • Build, manage, and maintain datasets from multiple data sources, including multiple ERP systems.
  • Develop data models and reporting solutions to support business and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with plant management and department leaders to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
  • Create automated reporting solutions to reduce manual reporting efforts and improve efficiency.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, process improvements, and potential business risks.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and reliability across reporting platforms.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases.
  • Use Power Query and DAX to transform data, develop calculations, and create meaningful business metrics.
  • Document reporting processes, data definitions, data sources, and dashboard functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, reporting, and dashboard-related issues.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data availability, reporting processes, and operational visibility.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Power BI development and administration.
  • At least 1 year of experience building data models, datasets, dashboards, and automated reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience writing database queries.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience performing data analysis within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with manufacturing operations, plant systems, or ERP platforms.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Experience automating recurring business reports and manual reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and business intelligence best practices.
