Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension based on business needs and performance)
Pay Rate: $65.00–$70.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours – 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Job Summary
This role supports a project focused on the migration of a Home Equity Mortgage retail reporting platform from SQL Server to an Oracle data warehouse (Enterprise Data Warehouse / Risk & Regulatory Data Warehouse). The contractor will be substantially involved in database and data warehouse testing, including field-to-field testing, writing and executing test cases, and data issue triage — working to identify where data fails, document findings, and collaborate with the technical team to resolve issues. A secondary responsibility involves requirements gathering for report specifications as the platform is built out. The team is cross-organizational, consisting of approximately 20 people, and the contractor will interact primarily with internal TD stakeholders. The contractor will have access to customer data, and the role involves Regulation Z considerations.

Key Responsibilities
Support migration of Home Equity Mortgage reporting application (SQL Server) into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (Risk & Regulatory Data Warehouse)
Perform database and data warehouse testing, including field-to-field testing
Read specifications and execute testing accordingly
Write, create, and execute test cases and test plans
Perform data issues triage — identify where data fails, document findings, and work with the technical team to resolve issues
Support requirements gathering for report specifications as they are built out
Spend approximately 20% of the day in meetings with internal TD stakeholders

Required Skills
Strong SQL coding skills (Oracle); 8 years of SQL coding experience (SQL Server, Oracle)
Base SQL querying on Oracle DB (not procedural PL/SQL)
Executing and creating test cases and test plans
Previous banking or financial institution experience
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail; self-starter and adaptable

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of retail lending products and data — mortgages, home equity, unsecured lending, credit cards, auto finance
Power BI experience
Requirements gathering experience

Required Experience
8–10 years of overall experience
8 years of SQL coding experience (SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience with database and data warehouse testing, including field-to-field testing
Banking or financial institution experience

Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience with retail lending data — mortgage data, home equity data, credit, auto finance data
Power BI experience
