• Primary (Must-Have):
• ✔️Enterprise-wide Canonical, Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
• ✔️Semantic Data Mesh modeling and domain-driven data contract design
• ✔️Event streaming architecture with Kafka (event modeling, schema strategy, and real-time pipelines)
• ✔️Cloud Data Ecosystems: AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda) and Snowflake
• ✔️Advanced SQL and programming proficiency in Python

Secondary (Good to Have):

• ✔️Big Data technologies (Spark, Delta Lake, or similar)
• ✔️Enterprise Data Catalog implementation, metadata systems, and lineage frameworks
• ✔️ETL/ELT pipeline design optimization and distributed data systems
• ✔️AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty
• ✔️Prior experience in AI/ML data enablement foundations

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an elite Business Data Architect / Modeler to drive a critical, enterprise-wide data transformation initiative on a hybrid model out of Westwood, MA or Johnston, RI. This strategic consultant will design and deliver scalable, cutting-edge data architecture solutions with a strong focus on canonical data modeling, semantic data mesh, and real-time Kafka streaming architectures. Acting as a critical bridge between business capabilities and high-quality, governed engineering pipelines, the successful architect will enable cross-enterprise interoperability for modern analytics and operational applications.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• ✔️Develop and enhance canonical and semantic data models alongside domain-driven data contracts to secure enterprise-wide data interoperability
• ✔️Produce end-to-end conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with modern data mesh principles and business capability transformation
• ✔️Design, architect, and optimize streaming patterns and event-driven data structures utilizing Apache Kafka
• ✔️Architect and tune robust data storage and pipeline architectures across AWS cloud platforms (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda) and Snowflake
• ✔️Partner directly with product owners, domain architects, and data engineers to enforce rigorous data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage across data domains
