Business Data Analyst

• Position: Business Data Analyst
• Location: Hybrid - Downtown Minneapolis, MN (4 days onsite)
• Rate: $55-$70/hr - depending on experience
• Duration: 6-12 month contract to full time hire

Must Have’s:

• • At least 5 years of professional experience working within a business or data analyst capacity
• • Prior experience working within an agile environment
• • Ability to write SQL queries from scratch
• • Prior experience pulling and analyzing data within a SQL database
• • Prior experience analyzing data within a highly regulated industry, like banking, finance or healthcare
• • Experience utilizing Jira and Confluence

An employer is seeking a highly skilled Business / Data Analyst to join one of our largest national financial services clients for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role you’ll join a growing team of 40 and work to analyze data and gather requirements for an upcoming application development project supporting a large new client onboarding initiative.

This team is currently tasked with reimagining what new client onboarding looks like internally. They are still in the early stages of this initiative, and no requirements have currently been gathered for this project; therefore, you must be comfortable hitting the ground running and gathering requirements from scratch. This role is technical in that you’ll be required to pull data from their SQL database and must be comfortable writing SQL queries from scratch.
