About the Role
The Business Analytics Advisor - Vice President is responsible for leading the HR Analytics Advisor function, delivering strategic workforce insights that enable data-driven talent and business decisions. This executive leadership role oversees a team of analytics professionals responsible for transforming workforce data into actionable recommendations for senior business and HR leaders. The role partners across Human Resources, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and executive leadership to develop advanced analytics capabilities, predictive insights, and scalable reporting solutions that enhance workforce performance and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Analytics Leadership
- Lead and scale the HR Analytics Advisor function across assigned business units.
- Develop the vision, strategy, and operating model for analytics advisory services.
- Build high-performing teams of analytics professionals and business advisors.
- Drive enterprise-wide workforce analytics initiatives aligned with business strategy.
- Establish analytics best practices and governance frameworks.
- Measure and communicate the business impact of analytics initiatives.
- Workforce Analytics & Insights
- Analyze workforce trends, talent metrics, and organizational performance.
- Identify workforce risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
- Develop actionable recommendations supporting talent and business strategies.
- Deliver proactive and responsive workforce analytics to executive stakeholders.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent allocation initiatives.
- Monitor workforce performance through advanced analytics and reporting.
- Executive Advisory & Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and Human Resources leadership.
- Present executive-ready analytics, reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business narratives.
- Partner with business leaders to align analytics with organizational priorities.
- Influence strategic workforce decisions through data-driven insights.
- Support executive decision-making with meaningful business intelligence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Human Resources, Business Intelligence, AI & Data Science, and the Chief Data Office.
- Collaborate on predictive analytics and advanced workforce modeling initiatives.
- Support enterprise data governance and reporting standards.
- Coordinate with technical teams to enhance analytics platforms and self-service capabilities.
- Promote collaboration across business and functional teams.
- Drive alignment between analytics initiatives and organizational objectives.
- Analytics Innovation & Process Improvement
- Develop scalable analytics processes and advisory delivery models.
- Expand self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders.
- Improve reporting automation and operational efficiency.
- Support implementation of predictive models and AI-driven analytics solutions.
- Continuously evaluate emerging analytics technologies and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement across workforce analytics operations.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing analytics professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Establish performance goals and development plans for team members.
- Promote knowledge sharing and analytical excellence.
- Build organizational capabilities to support future business growth.
- Lead change management initiatives within the analytics function.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in analytics, business strategy, or data analytics within a large, global organization.
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing analytics or advisory teams.
- Strong executive leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives through data-driven insights.
- Experience connecting business strategy with analytics, reporting, and data science.
- Strong understanding of workforce analytics and talent strategy.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience establishing operating models, success metrics, and scalable analytics functions.
- Proficiency with business analytics, visualization, and executive presentation tools.
- Experience integrating analytics into Human Resources processes and decision-making.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within financial services or professional services organizations.
- Human Resources strategy or workforce planning experience.
- Experience developing predictive analytics and AI-enabled business insights.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance and self-service analytics platforms.
