Business Analyst

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the IT field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an IT business analyst, requirements specialist, or equivalent.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in conducting JAD (Joint Application Design/Development) sessions with business owners, technical experts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in creating, modifying, and maintaining requirements and design documents for large healthcare IT systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and information, including data modeling, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Demonstrated experience with systems development lifecycle (SDLC) techniques and Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with preparing presentations, reports, tables, graphs, and observations for presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working collaboratively with business users, managers, and non-technical staff.
• Knowledge of various software tools and technologies used in the industry, including data analysis, project management, and database management software.
• A strong understanding of business processes, operations, and practices in the health insurance marketplace to identify areas for improvement and optimize business performance through system changes.
• Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Experience with managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines, and changing business needs.
