Business Analyst - WFH

## About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile professional for a combined **Business Analyst, Tester, and Virtual Trainer** role supporting an IT investment and portfolio management initiative. The successful candidate will contribute across the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, business analysis, software testing, end-user training, and adoption support.

This remote, U.S.-only position supports a high-impact project leveraging **ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)**, **Proven Optics Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) Application**, and **Proven Optics Technology Business Management (TBM) Cost Modeling Application**. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, testing, documentation, communication, and training capabilities and can work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

## Key Responsibilities

### As a Business Analyst

• - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• - Document functional and technical requirements.
• - Develop user stories and expected results.
• - Create process documentation and business workflows.
• - Support configuration decisions aligned with best practices in IT portfolio and financial management.

### As a Tester

• - Develop and execute test plans.
• - Develop test cases and test scenarios.
• - Validate system functionality, reports, and dashboards against documented requirements.
• - Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• - Support defect remediation efforts.

### As a Trainer

- Design and develop training materials, including:

• - User guides
• - Video walkthroughs
• - Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• - Facilitate virtual and live training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
• - Provide ongoing user support.
• - Promote platform adoption and effective system usage.

## Required Qualifications

• - **U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.**
• - **Active Public Trust or higher clearance.**
• - **3+ years of experience** as an Analyst, Tester, and Trainer.
• - Experience documenting functional and technical requirements into user stories and expected results.
• - Experience developing test plans and test cases and tracking issues.
• - Demonstrated ability to test systems against documented requirements.
• - Experience designing and delivering training materials, including user guides, video walkthroughs, and SOPs.
• - Experience facilitating virtual training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
• - Extremely well-developed organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• - Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• - Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical information.
• - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• - Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
